Melissa Argenti, M.S., OTR/L, BCP is a board certified pediatric occupational therapist who finds joy in helping children grow and thrive. She believes in strong partnerships with parents and caregivers and brings more than a decade of community based early intervention experience to her families. She has also served as lead OT on an interdisciplinary autism diagnostic team at JFK Partners and Developmental Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Colorado. She has valued the collaboration with other providers while individually helping families navigate their child’s learning path.
Her professional interests include parent coaching through a neuroaffirming lens, feeding, sensory regulation, autism, and helping families through transitions or a new or complex diagnosis. She has participated in multiple advanced feeding trainings (SOFFI, SOS, AFPG) to help support children and their caregivers. Additionally, education and mentorship are important to Melissa. She has supervised Level I and Level II occupational therapy students and mentored long term OT fellows through the LEND program at JFK Partners, as OT LEND Director.
Outside of work, Melissa loves cheering on her two children in their pursuits and also the Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena. She, her husband, and their kids enjoy traveling, from local discoveries to international adventures. Melissa also likes walking her dog, reading, cooking an Italian meal, and playing a competitive game of tennis.
