“Melissa is extremely compassionate, knowledgeable, and creative when working with families to help with their child's development. When our son was very young, he had challenges with eating. Melissa was so helpful in providing us with tips and strategies to make our son more comfortable at the table and happy interacting with food. She is accessible, friendly, and clearly cares about the children and families she works with. She's the best!
“Melissa was our OT for 2+ years and was instrumental in supporting our premature twins catching up on their developmental delays. My twins each had unique challenges and needs, including one with a feeding tube. Melissa tailored her support to each child and without her unwavering commitment to my twins and our family, we would not have caught up on delays. Melissa was a fierce advocate for our family, connecting us to resources available to help - either giving us some breathing room financially, or suggesting toys or activities that would support catching up on gross motor delays. Melissa also provided much needed validation and support to me and my husband as we navigated such an emotional journey as new parents and the stress of developmental delays. Every milestone my twins have been through - from sleep regressions, to introduction to foods and allergens, to potty training, have been easier because of her expertise and approach. I am immensely grateful for Melissa and her expertise.
“Rock solid OT! Incredibly sensitive, yet direct, and so loving with my kiddo who needed help with coordination and sensory. She ended up being neurodivergent, which Melissa help me navigate.”
